''Fear'' your stepping stone

Fear as a verb means to be afraid of something, or to be concerned about the effect of something. This past few days I have thought and thought of what next! I have always wanted to share my thoughts out to someone but I was afraid that what will people think.

Fear has always been something in my life that holds me back from doing something I love. While trying to develop this post I discovered that this fear is part of our life and all that matters is how we overcome it or conquer it.

So today after given it much thought I decided to overcome that fear just like how a child takes her first steps even though she is afraid of falling down. It takes time to overcome this fear in our heart.

I remember the first time I was to stand in front of a church conference to recite a memory text, I had already practiced rigorously in front of my parent at home but when I got to the front I was afraid..yet all I did was to imagine that they were my parent and that was the end of the fear.

Fear as a stepping stone is all about making your fear your strength 💪, it is about conquering it, and finding a safe place for yourself.

Fear should not be something stopping you from achieving your best rather it should be your motivation. It should make you believe more in yourself.

I remember a time that my grades were dropping and I was afraid of going to library to read more because I don't want to be called the "library girl", The day I took my step into that library I started seeing the changes and ever since I didn't care about what they said.

Finally remember that Isaiah 41:10 says

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
